Returns & Withdrawal

This page explains the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases, how to exercise it, and the two (2) year legal guarantee of conformity that applies if a product is defective.

1. 14-day right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract of sale within fourteen (14) calendar days without giving any reason (Article 3e et seq. of Greek Law 2251/1994, Directive 2011/83/EU). The withdrawal period starts on the day on which you — or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier — acquire physical possession of the goods. If you ordered several goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period starts upon receipt of the last item.

2. How to exercise it

Before the withdrawal period expires, inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement, in one of the following ways:

• Using the model withdrawal form below (its use is not mandatory)

It is sufficient to send your withdrawal statement before the 14-day period expires. We will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal without delay.

3. Model withdrawal form

(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract — as per Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU.)

4. Returning the goods

You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which you notified us of your withdrawal, to: Panagiotis Michailidis, Maiandrou 43, Evosmos, 56224, Thessaloniki, Greece.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods (return shipping costs).

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning — in other words, you may inspect the product as you would in a physical shop, but not use it or install it on the vehicle.

5. Refund

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the original delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs if you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event within fourteen (14) days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

The refund is made using the same means of payment you used (e.g. a reversal to your card via Viva.com), unless you expressly agree otherwise; for cash-on-delivery orders we will ask you for a bank account (IBAN). You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.

6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to:

• Sealed goods which were unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons — e.g. lubricants, fluids and chemicals whose container has been opened or whose seal has been broken.
• Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised (special orders).

Products whose factory packaging remains sealed can be returned normally within the 14-day period.

7. Defective products — 2-year legal guarantee

Independently of the right of withdrawal, all products are covered by the statutory two (2) year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery (Articles 534 et seq. of the Greek Civil Code). The legal guarantee is a separate right from withdrawal:

• Withdrawal is exercised within 14 days, without giving a reason, and you bear the return shipping costs.
• The legal guarantee applies for 2 years and concerns a product that is defective or does not conform to the contract. In that case you are entitled, free of charge and as the case may be, to: repair or replacement of the product, a price reduction, or termination of the contract with a full refund. You do not bear the cost of returning a defective product.
